The management and team at LOAD are committed to helping you make the most of our facilities. To ensure a safe and positive environment for everyone, we have set out the responsibilities we can reasonably expect from each other.
Our Commitment to You
Your body, your choice
We respect your personal decisions about exercise. You should only participate in activities that you believe are within your own physical capabilities.
Safe equipment and facilities
We take all reasonable steps to ensure that our equipment and studio facilities are properly maintained and safe to use.
An inclusive environment
Everyone is welcome at LOAD. If you have a disability that may affect your ability to use our facilities, we will assess whether reasonable adjustments can be made to help you participate safely.
Qualified staff
We take reasonable measures to ensure our trainers and team members meet recognised fitness industry standards, including those set out by the Register of Exercise Professionals.
Your Commitment to Us
Exercise within your limits
You must not exercise beyond your own abilities.
Medical conditions
You must inform us if you have, or believe you may have, a medical condition (including pregnancy) that could affect your ability to exercise safely. If you have concerns about your health, you should seek advice from a medical professional before using our facilities and follow their guidance.
Follow studio rules
You must follow all studio rules, instructions, and warning notices, and avoid activities that staff have advised are not suitable for you.
Accessibility support
If you have a disability, you must follow any reasonable instructions from staff to ensure safe participation.
Feeling unwell
If you feel unwell while using our facilities or equipment, you must inform a member of staff immediately. A trained first aider will always be present on site.
Limitation of Liability
By attending sessions, events, or using our facilities and equipment, you acknowledge that intense physical exercise carries inherent risks.
You confirm that you are voluntarily participating in physical activity and accept responsibility for any injuries or damage sustained while using our facilities or equipment.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless LOAD from claims arising from injuries or damages resulting from participation in sessions or use of the studio.
Pregnancy
Clients who are pregnant may attend Fundamentals sessions during the first trimester, unless advised otherwise by a medical professional.
All pregnant clients must inform the studio and complete a pre-natal PAR-Q form. To obtain this form, please email [email protected] or speak with a team member in the studio.
Our Signature sessions are not suitable during the second and third trimesters.
Clients are responsible for seeking and following independent medical advice regarding exercise during pregnancy. In some cases, medical advice may recommend that participation in sessions stops altogether.
Pregnant clients may freeze their membership or extend session packs if they choose not to attend during pregnancy. There are no time restrictions on freezing or extending memberships or packs for this reason.I
